My condolences on the loss of your Son, John. I'm sure it doesn't not get any less painful as the years pass.
Your preaching series sounds interesting. I'll have to check it out.
Also your poll does not have enough lines. Please add, staying home and taking care of my garden, helping my daughter with her new baby and looking after my husband. Honestly, the older I get, the less I'm inclined to travel. I have a property 4 hours north of us, that I inherited from my parents that is 100 acres on a lake. We are not allowed to build, but we have a bus beside the lake. I haven't been there in 2 years so that would be nice to go up there for a week. Our son and his wife in Victoria, BC are overdue to gave a baby this week. It would be nice to visit them in the summer. We would have to take daughter and her baby.
And we have discussed selling and buying a motor home and travelling for a while. But with my husband's cancer..mlife is complicated isn't it?
Also, what is the first black bird in the photos? I thought grackle but the beak seems too big.
Thank you Rosemary! I think you have some great stuff planned for this Summer! Prayers for you and your husband. Redwing BlackBird… love to hear their unique calls!
Big family trip next month--all the kids and grands. (Could get interesting). Writing about the goodness of God in exhaustion for next week (The Goodness of God in Stars posts Tuesday am).
I did not know you lost a child, I'm so sorry for your loss.
Your photos are stunning.
My vote in the poll has to do with my lifestyle. We live in a motor home, we are “home” visiting, but headed to Colorado from here for the summer.
Thank you Kim. I'm glad you liked the photos! Colorado sounds awesome!
