I’m closing in on my goal of 50 books and I think I’m going to make it just in time. And I already have my stack of books planned for next year. I’m enjoying being back on Goodreads and doing the challenge. I think it is a good thing.
A big yes! to the Mitford series. I’m in a Facebook group that is all about Mitford and there are a lot of men who love the series too. Also the lady that runs our group recommended the Three Pines series as a place to go when you are looking for a similar experience. Mitford isn’t a murder mystery but the characters are so well drawn that they truly feel like family and in every book there will be a storyline that speaks to the power of prayer. Tell your wife we must be kindred spirits. And I am heading back over to Ms. Penny’s series I think I am on 14 or 15. Lots and lots of good stuff in your post tonight. I will be mining it for more ideas this week. Happy New Year!
Loved the Mitford series and the beautiful stories. I have equally enjoyed Phillip Gulley’s Harmony series with pretty accurate pictures of local ministry. Happy New Year and keep the great pictures coming!
