Simon and I are really enjoying watching Lonesome Dove. We never watched it when it was released many years ago so it is wonderful to discover this classic with star studded cast. We are saving each episode to watch on Sunday evening. I think I am going to read the book next.
I’m reading your second coffee break book and I loved the chapter on the Magnificent Seven. God thru the Arts!!.
Just finished a book by H.E. Bates called The Jacaranda Tree. It had a good message about how sometimes in life we don’t know if anything we are doing matters and we don’t realize how many people that we effect their lives without knowing.
Great pictures. I need a rat snake (or even better, a king) to move into my yard. Too many critters.
Today I am reading a section of Spurgeon’s *A Treasury of David* as I prepare to write the next two devotions through Psalm 119. I’m listening to *Interface* on my run/walks. It was written in 2010 and it has been interesting to compare both technology and politics between what the author guessed at and what has really happened.
Beautiful wildlife photos, John. Although I did not need to see those snakes! I just came across Alone on Stack TV and would like to watch it again. My husband does not share my love of survival shows.
Great pictures and love Phil Wickham. Congrats on your latest books and don’t forget to enjoy the summer!
I second that, great pictures!

Looking forward to picking up a copy of your book!
Back at ya Chris! Thank you!

Thanks! I’m surprised that I like Alone as much as I do!
