About Hope Remains

The first goal of writing is catharsis, the second is that someone else would find it valuable. In community, we find common ground, and I hope to find commonality with you as I share my thoughts about Christianity, books, television, photography, and other miscellany. It is named ‘Hope Remains’ because that was the title of my blog for many years, and because in spite of everything I’ve faced, hope does, indeed, remain. I’m a Jesus guy, entirely grace-dependent. Subscribe for free to get full access to the newsletter. Never miss an update. I’d love for you to follow me on Threads, Instagram, and Goodreads. Also, if you are interested in my weekly sermon notes, Bible class notes, and occasional devotional writings, please subscribe to my Sermons From Forsythe substack. In addition, I send out a daily photo, passage, and prayer, each morning at 8 am CST called The Holy Lens.

Stay up-to-date

You won’t have to worry about missing anything. Every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox. Yes, there are WAY too many emails these days, but most email clients let you put the most important ones in a particular folder. That’s where my newsletter goes, so you can find it. Or you can read on the Substack app, which makes it very easy.
