It’s hard to know how to start over again, but one suggestion is to just jump right in (unless there’s a hungry alligator watching closely!).
When blogs were first becoming popular, I started one called ‘Out Here Hope Remains’, with the help of a couple of friends who promised to write posts along with me. I am not sure they ever did. It was a time before social media. The internet for common people was fairly new. The connections we were able to make were global, and no longer limited to local friends.
So, thirty years later, I’m writing a newsletter instead of a blog. What’s even more interesting is that you’re reading it!
Hope Remains will, I hope, be encouraging and interesting for you. I’ll write about Christianity, share some photography (such as that alligator who has been keeping an eye on you), tell you about some books I’m reading, or the television show that has my attention. In other words, I hope it’s a warm visit from a friend that you look forward to receiving.
How can you help? First, please subscribe so you can receive the latest posts in your inbox. Then share with a friend who might be interested. Finally, feel free to engage by leaving a comment.
If you were a subscriber to the old blog, I added you here. You can unsubscribe if you are not happy with that!
This is a new adventure in an old style, and I hope you come along with me on the journey. I’m glad you spent these few minutes with me.
