I take my granddaughter to Amicalola every year. We have a picnic in the car and do the steps from the middle to the top. One year she will be big enough to do them all.
Very cool! We drove to the top … I went down a few flights to get to the middle and my knees said “nope”! So we sent to the bottom and I walked to the falls. My knees still said “nope” but it wasn’t as hard as the stairs so I made it. I never even heard of that place, but my daughter told us about it (and was with us). Beautiful!
It's less than an hour from where I live. Micah (my granddaughter) loves the picnic and the bragging rights--even if she doesn't love the stairs! This year we parked at the top and took the stairs at the middle and then the stairs back up.
