John I appreciate your heart and spirit. Praying for you as you heal up. Im glad your church family got to worship together today. We at Riverside are looking forward to next Sunday when after 3 straight weeks will finally have good enough weather to be in the building. God is so good@
Thanks so much Rich… wow…three weeks… that’s painful … I know you look forward to gathering with the Family! It will be a great time! Hard to wait, though!
I’m so glad you guys finally got your power back. I’m ready for spring aren’t you? Still I am enjoying giving my collection of sweaters a turn outside the cedar chest. Amy Tan brings a whole new level of bird watching to the table. It isn’t something that has a page turner plot but something to be savored slowly. I’m sure you will have new ideas for your bird feeders and fresh inspiration for your photography.
I have moved on to a book written by Tracy Kidder called Strength in What Remains. It is well written. I am interested to see how the story unfolds.
Im glad that experience is over for now and that the recovery should be reasonably short. This January in the South has been strange. Im sure there is a lesson in it!
Thanks for your posts, John and for the gift of that song today! I surely need it as I'm sure you also did. Sorry for all the pain and frustration you've been dealt this week. Hopefully the weather improves along with your health.

And thank you for your prayers.
Thanks Brother John, I hope this week will be better than last. May God continue to bless you.
When I went to turn on heat in our building this morning it was 29 degrees.
I’m with you…better days ahead! 29! That’ll get your attention! Blessings to you friend.
So sorry to hear how tough things have been, John. The Lord bless you and Maggie as you recover from these compound trials.
