Black Bayou Afternoon

My daughter, two grandchildren, and I spent some time at Black Bayou NWR Wednesday afternoon. There were a lot of people out there, I assume, for the same reason we were. Family is home visiting, it was a nice afternoon, and it’s supposed to rain tomorrow. I saw more White Egrets this visit than I remember seeing before. Most of them were visible but just outside of the range for me to get a good photo with my camera - a Canon SX70hs. Here are some images I wanted to share with you.

It was an enjoyable day. Many guests were at the park with their dogs and kids. It’s a great blessing to have Black Bayou in our areas.
