Hey friends, it’s time for the Sunday Night Check-In! Thanks for dropping by for a few minutes. Welcome new subscribers! It’s no surprise that it’s hot in Louisiana - it’s August! What I like most about August is that it serves as a gateway to September, and then my favorite months of the year follow. But for now, we roast.
I enjoyed so much our time in Mississippi last week. We enjoyed our lodging at The Inn on Whitworth. It was our third time staying there, and it never disappoints. OK, this time, the elevator was out…but… it was still a super place to stay.
It was enjoyable in many ways, but it was still nice to get home to Louisiana. I was happy to be back with my church family at Forsythe.
I received a first review of my newest book, Hope Travels! I’m very grateful!
FORSYTHE
This morning, I continued the series through Colossians called The Heavenward Trail. We talked about Colossians 3:1-11 (Notes HERE). We had a great fellowship meal following Bible class. There was such a good spirit and, of course, great food! This month, we are collecting for Grace Place Ministries. We are gathering underwear for children and deodorant.
